Anna Wintour: Ihr Sohn steht krank unter Quarantäne

Anna Wintour (70) ist indirekt persönlich von der Corona-Krise betroffen: In einem Instagram-Post erzählt die “Vogue”-Chefredakteurin, dass ihr 35-jähriger Sohn sehr krank sei und aktuell unter Quarantäne stehe. “Mein Sohn ist Arzt”, erklärt Wintour. “Er ist derzeit sehr krank Zuhause unter Quarantäne gestellt, aber wenn er dazu in der Lage ist, wird er auf die Intensivstation in seinem Krankenhaus zurückkehren.”

Laut “WCBS” arbeitet Wintours Sohn im Presbyterian Hospital / Weill Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan. Trotz der Sorge um ihren Sohn ist Wintour offensichtlich auch sehr stolz auf ihn. “Die wichtigste Hilfe findet natürlich an vorderster Front statt”, meint die Chefredakteurin in dem Video. “Ich bin so stolz auf ihn und das Gesundheitspersonal, die Ersthelfer, Krankenschwestern und Ärzte, die daran arbeiten, die Ausbreitung des Virus zu stoppen und Leben zu retten.”
