Colin Luther Powell, better known as Colin Powell, is a retired four-star general in the United States Army and a statesman. He has a net worth of $50 million. He was born on April 5, 1937, in Harlem. He served under George W. Bush, former President of the United States, as the 65th Secretary of State from 2001 to 2005. He was the first African American to hold that high office. Prior to that, Powell was Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, another high-ranking position in the United States.
