Charlène of Monaco & Prince Albert: Will the Princess now lose her children?

After several months of illness in her old home country of South Africa, Princess Charlène of Monaco finally returned to the Principality a few days ago. But apparently still plague the princess health problems. Currently

Charlène is recovering in a clinic from the stresses of recent months. And apparently must continue to do without the company of her children.

Prince Charlène back in Monaco

Good seven months had to spend Charlène because of health problems in South Africa, before she finally got permission from the doctors for her return trip to Monaco. Charlène had wanted more than anything to return to her children and husband. But no sooner had she arrived home than Charlène was separated from her family once again. “After struggling with poor health in recent months, the Princess is currently recovering and will continue to do so in the coming weeks to recover from a state of deep general fatigue,” the Monegasque princely palace had announced. All of Charlène’s appointments were cancelled due to her health problems. Afterwards, the Princess had then been taken to a “strictly confidential” place, where she is expected to continue her recovery for the time being.

Prince Albert speaks about Charlène’s condition

But her husband Prince Albert had then informed that the state of health of Charlène probably also leaves further to be desired. Reportedly, he had therefore made a decision together with his wife. “She was clearly exhausted, physically and mentally. She was overwhelmed and could not cope with official duties, life in general or even family life,” Albert told the American “People” magazine. At the same time, Albert confirmed that the whole thing did not affect their relationship as a couple. What the heck is going on behind the palace walls? Experts had already spotted discrepancies in the family’s reunion photos. So they had noticed the rejecting body language of Prince Albert. In addition, the princess also appeared emaciated and ill in the photos. But instead of finally giving his ailing wife more help, 63-year-old Albert preferred to make off and flew to the world exhibition in Dubai. A trip just out of a sense of duty to keep an appointment or another sign of the couple’s deep split?

Prince Charlène continues to be without her children

Where exactly Charlène is at the moment is unclear. However, she is said to be in a clinic. “She is not in the principality,” Albert clarifies. So this means the 43-year-old will continue to be separated from her children, who continue to live at the palace. In recent months, family reunions had been infrequent. During the 7 months in South Africa, her husband Albert had only come to South Africa for 2 short visits with the children. It almost seems as if the Prince has no time for his wife and prefers to devote his time to the children. “When one of the parents is absent for medical reasons, the other parent has to be there,” Albert explains his act. “For me, it’s very simple. Family is the number one priority,” Albert says candidly. Exactly how things really stand with the couple’s marriage will likely become clear in the coming months. Because even still, Charlène doesn’t seem to be a higher priority for Prince Albert. “We will visit her. I can’t say when. Not in the next few days, but as soon as we get the medical okay,” Prince Albert announced. Kind of not exactly words you’d expect from a concerned husband.
