It has been just two months since Denmark decided to abolish all Corona restrictions. But given the current state of the pandemic, the country is now reintroducing measures to curb the number of infections. There, a panel of epidemiologists has called for the reintroduction of the 3G regime. This advice was followed by the Danish government of Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen. Due to the sharp increase in the number of infections, Frederiksen has now announced the return to these restrictions in Copenhagen. Thus Covid-19 is classified there also again as “threat for the society”, clarified Frederiksen. Therefore, proof of vaccination or recovery, or a negative test result, must now be presented to the public again.

In Denmark, 85.9 percent of the population over the age of 12 has been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus. This means that the reintroduction of the 3G rule is only a problem for those who have not yet been vaccinated. Apparently, this is now to persuade the remaining Danes to be vaccinated.
