Will Merkel now be disempowered! Because of the Corona measures – traffic light attacks the chancellor!

It appears that new Corona rules are to be drafted before the new government is in place. Apparently, the traffic light parties have set their sights on November 19 to adopt new Corona rules. Then, the procedure should be simpler, but the rules could possibly become tough.

New government alliance wants to introduce new rules for Corona measures

The coalition of SPD, FDP and Greens has apparently planned before a change of government to present the first joint law. The Bundestag is to vote on it then November 19. Apparently, the parties have already agreed on a bill that is to contain the future course of action in the Corona pandemic. With this decision, the future government apparently wants to “no longer leave the Berlin stage for action to the caretaker chancellor Angela Merkel”, as the daily FAZ notes. Then the proposals of Health Minister Jens Spahn and Chancellery Minister Helge Braun would also be left out. Instead, the Union would then find itself in the role of the opposition. Some members of the Union are already calling this approach the ultimate humiliation. Because such a decision would also make a federal-state summit sought by the CDU superfluous.

New rules will bring more restrictions

So the new law is apparently to be discussed quickly in the Bundestag, “because a committee, the so-called main committee, is to be set up specifically to ensure the usual parliamentary procedure,” announces the FAZ. Then the main committee is to take over the function of the usual specialized committees in parliament, because these have not yet been formed. For functions in the committees are in fact only distributed when all government posts have been allocated. It appears that the new measures are unlikely to bring any relaxation. Apparently, it is planned to grant basic rights only to the recovered, vaccinated and tested (3 G) or only to the recovered and vaccinated (2 G) by empowering the federal states. This is probably to put more pressure on the unvaccinated. However, it is also intended to ensure that the protection of the elderly and sick is significantly increased in view of the declining effectiveness of vaccines. In addition, priority will probably also be given to booster vaccinations from now on. In addition, well-known regulations such as mask and distance obligation are to remain further valid.
