Leonardo DiCaprio ruft zu Spenden auf

Für sein umweltfreundliches und soziales Engagement ist Leonardo DiCaprio (44, “Shutter Island”) bekannt. Nachdem Hurrikan “Dorian” in der vergangenen Woche über die Bahamas getobt ist und dort für reichlich Schäden gesorgt hat, hat der Schauspieler seine Fans nun auf seinem Instagram-Account um Spenden für zwei gemeinnützige Organisationen gebeten, “um die natürlichen Ressourcen der Bahamas zu schützen”.

“Der Hurrikan Dorian, ein gewaltiger Sturm, der mit Sicherheit aufgrund des Klimawandels von wärmerer Luft und warmen Meerwasser aufgeladen wurde, verwüstete die Abacos und Grand Bahama im Korallenstaat der Bahamas”, schreibt er weiter. “Helfen Sie mit, unsere wunderschönen Inseln und die natürliche Artenvielfalt wiederherzustellen.”
