OnePlus hat gerade im hauseigenen Forum verkündet, dass ihre Geräte ab Q1 2016 mit dem Android 6.0 Marsmallow Update versorgt werden sollen.
So sehen die Android 6.0 Marshmallow für die eigenen Smartphones wie folgt aus:
OnePlus One:
Das OPO soll als erstes das Update von Cyanogen erhalten, welche bereits an der neuen Version arbeiten. Der Rollout soll dann bereits im erstten Quartal 2016 erfolgen. Für das OPO gibt es ja auch noch zusätzlich das OxygenOS. Aber das Update wird erst später nach dem Cyanogenmod Release folgen. Ein Termin lässt man hier allerdings noch offen und sagt lediglich “when time allows“, also wenn es die Zeit ermöglicht oder zulässt.
OnePlus 2
Auch das OPT wird das Androi 6.0 Marshmallow Update für das OxygenOS im ersten Quartal 2016 erhalten. Mit dem Update wird es dann auch möglich sein die Standard-Google-API für den Fingerabdruck-Scanner nutzen zu können.
OnePlus X
Abschließend wird das OPX auf jeden Fall auch das Update auf Android 6.0 Marshmallow erhalten aber ein offizieller Termin wird hierfür noch nicht genannt.
Many of you have been wondering about Android M and when exactly it’s coming to your OnePlus device. Although we don’t want to promise specific dates yet, we want to share some more detailed answers with you today.
For the OnePlus One, Cyanogen OS will be updating to Marshmallow in the first quarter of 2016. We created a community build of OxygenOS for the OnePlus One, but this isn’t what the product officially ships with. We will be updating the community build of OxygenOS for the OnePlus One when time allows.
The OnePlus 2 will also be updated in Q1, and the update will include the new standard Marshmallow API for the fingerprint sensor. We’ve heard requests for us creating an API for the current fingerprint implementation in OxygenOS, but have decided against this since we’re switching over to the standard Android M implementation soon.
We are working hard to bring Marshmallow as soon as possible to the OnePlus X, and will update you on a time frame at a later time.
In the meantime, we’ll keep rolling out updates as soon as possible for OxygenOS!
