Seit der Stagefright Lücke im Android-Betriebssystem kündigten einige Hersteller an, dass sie in Zukunft Ihre Geräte mit monatlichen Updates versorgen werden.
Google macht hier im August den Anfang bei den Nexus Geräten und Samsung versprach das bei seinen Geräten ebenfalls zu machen. Siehe auch unseren Artikel zur Stagefright Lücke.
Nun verkündet Samsung offiziell, dass sie Ihre Spitzenmodell/Flaggschiffe mit monatlichen Updates versorgen werden. Das betrifft hauptsächlich die S-Serie beginnend beim Galaxy S5, S6, S6 Edge, S6 Edge+, die Note-Serie mit dem Note 4, Note Edge, Note 5 und die Tab-S-Serie mit dem Tab S, Tab S2). Die Updates können aber je nach Region/Land abweichen.
