Motorola: Diese Geräte bekommen das Update auf Android 6.0 Marshmallow

Der offizielle Release von Android 6.0 Marshmallow steht wie wir alle wissen kurz bevor.

Update 16.12.2015 – Rollout Android 6.0 für Moto X 2014 & Style gestartet:

Motorola hat jetzt den Rollout für das Update auf Android 6.0 Marshmallow für das Moto X 2014 und Moto X Style gestartet. Das Update hat die Versionsnummer 24.11.18.en.EU und ist insgesamt 884MB groß.

We think Android is one of the best phone ingredients out there, and there are some sweet enhancements with Marshmallow that we’re excited about. Here are a few of our favorites:

• Doze Mode — This new feature monitors your phone and puts it into a deep sleep when it’s not being used, which can extend battery life substantially.
• Now on Tap — We love Google Now, and it’s improved in Android M. Simply long press the home button to bring up the Google Now feature and display information based on whatever you’re doing at the time.
• Android Pay — Android M allows you to bring up Android Pay with a simple tap and easily make purchases without having to open a separate app.
• Direct Share — Share your photos, news, links, etc. with your favorite contacts easily and quickly.
• Simpler volume controls — A more intuitive way to control ringtone and media volume.

Google will bereits in der nächsten Woche schon mit der Auslieferung der neuen Android-Revision 6.0 Marshmallow beginnen.

Motorola war bis jetzt dank der stocknahen Oberfläche auch mit den Updates relativ schnell. Jetzt veröffentlichten man jetzt eine Liste der Smartphones, die auch das Update erhalten werden.

Motorola Smartphones mit Android 6.0 Marshmallow:

• 2015 Moto X Force
• 2015 Moto G (3rd gen)

• 2014 Moto X Pure Edition in the US (2nd gen)
• 2014 Moto X in Latin America, Europe and Asia (2nd gen)
• 2014 Moto G and Moto G with 4G LTE (2nd gen)

• 2014 Moto MAXX
• 2014 Moto Turbo

Somit wird Motorola auch die etwas älteren Geräte weiter mit Updates versorgen, wie z.B. das Moto G 2014. Ob das Moto E aus der zweiten Generation auch noch das Update erhalten wird ist nicht bekannt. Schon etwas seltsam, dass es in der Liste nicht auftaucht, denn das Gerät gibt es ja erst seit Februar 2015. Also ist die Listen noch etwas mir Vorsicht zu genießen. Die Liste kann also immer noch erweitert werden.
