Dead boy had an undetected heart defect
The terrible death of a 12-year-old boy after his 2nd vaccination against the coronavirus is apparently solved. That’s because medical experts have concluded that the boy’s death was indeed apparently at least partially due to the child’s vaccination. However, the vaccination was not the sole cause that led to the death of the child from the Cuxhaven district. As the Paul Ehrlich Institute (PEI) has now stated in a statement, the boy also had “a particularly severe, vaccine-independent previous heart disease”. This statement was also confirmed by the district of Cuxhaven on Monday. “Taking into account the extensive medical findings, the vaccination cannot be seen as the sole trigger of the fatal outcome,” the PEI wrote in its statement. The child had died just 2 days after the timed vaccination. “Even though the final evaluation of the child’s autopsy result is now available, the family and relatives are still left with the tragic loss of your child, which is immensely painful and touches us all deeply. To them belongs our fullest sympathy,” showed district administrator Kai-Uwe Bielefeld (non-party) visibly affected.
Deaths in connection with vaccination are extremely rare
At the same time, the PEI also points out that deaths in connection with vaccination have been registered only very rarely. Since the start of vaccinations, there had been 5 suspected cases of death related to vaccination in children and adolescents reported up to and including September 30. All of the vaccinations had been administered with BioNTech vaccine. According to the Paul Ehrlich Institute, at least 3 of the children had been diagnosed with severe pre-existing diseases. According to the Robert Koch Institute, more than two million children and adolescents between the ages of 12 and 17 have already received full vaccination protection against the coronavirus. This means that 43.9 percent of adolescents in this age group have been vaccinated against Covid-19 (as of November 15).
