Chinese authorities are testing packages for traces of COVID after employees of a company that makes children’s clothing tested positive for the virus.
The measures were taken after three employees of Haohui Ecommerce Co. in Hebei province, near Beijing, were infected with COVID. Parcel deliveries in the cities of Xinji, Jinzhou and the city of Shenze were halted, Bloomberg reported, citing a government statement. 300 packages tested for COVID have come up negative.

In Weibo posts we were able to view, local governments stated that they had tested packages for COVID. They urge citizens to sterilize the packages, not to touch their contents, and to report to local authorities if they have come into contact with the packages.
