Although a large proportion of German citizens have been doubly vaccinated against Covid-19, it is still possible for these people to contract the coronavirus. That’s because none of the vaccines can 100 percent prevent contracting the virus. The prestigious King’s College London has now listed in a study the list of symptoms that are particularly common when vaccinated people are infected with Covid 19.

Despite a complete vaccination, it is possible to catch infection with coronavirus. None of the approved vaccines offer a sure guarantee that this will not happen. Nevertheless, both the chance to get infected is lower and the course of the disease is much milder than in unvaccinated patients. This is the result of a recent study by the renowned King’s College in London. In addition, the researchers have identified 4 symptoms that often occur in fully vaccinated Covid 19 patients. A few days ago, Christine Falk, the president of the Society for Immunology, told “tagesschau24” that so far only 0.3 percent of the 56 million vaccinated Germans actually had a vaccination breakthrough. Vaccination protects against infection with Covid-19

During the British study, out of 1.1 million participants, 2,287 patients had still become infected with Covid-19 after a 1st vaccination. After the 2nd dose, only 187 remained, a rate of just 0.03 percent. So the vaccination does indeed protect, but there remains a very small residual risk.
In addition, the researchers also discovered 4 different symptoms that are particularly common in vaccinated Covid 19 patients.
These include a runny nose and frequent sneezing, shortness of breath, ear pain and swollen lymph nodes.
