Scientists discover unknown probe in space – It’s pointed at Earth! Who is watching us?
Mankind is still searching for evidence of extraterrestrial life in space. Now scientists have apparently discovered an object that could be a probe aimed at Earth. Is humanity actually being monitored by aliens?
Scientists puzzle over “Oumuamua”
For some time ago, scientists have discovered an alleged flying object in the sky and christened it “Oumuamua”, which means “the scout” in Hawaiian. An expression that seems to be fully suited to this object. Some of the researchers believe that it is a probe aimed at the Earth. A few years ago, “Oumuamua” had already been discovered in the sky. Initially, a group of researchers had thought it to be a comet, while others were equally sure that it must be alien technology. One who believes in the thesis of alien technology is Harvard professor Avi Loeb. The atrophysicist is certain that it is a probe designed to monitor Earth. Loeb bases his thesis on the object’s trajectory.
“Oumuamua” puzzles science
So the object had come from outside our solar system and had passed the Earth and continued on into the far reaches of space. But now the object seems to have stopped its trajectory. A characteristic that has not been observed in any comet so far, in any case. “The problem is that Oumuamua did not have a comet tail. Normally, when comets approach the Sun, their icy shell evaporates and a tail forms. In the case of Oumuamua, however, telescopes could not detect one,” the scientist explains. For some time now, the object has been moving away from the Sun again. This indeed suggests an additional source of power. “All in all, Oumuamua was something we had never seen before,” Loeb admits. However, the thesis of alien technology also continues to be hotly contested, as scientists still lack solid evidence to support their theory.
