1158 dead in 24 hrs!
In Russia, however, authorities are recording another all-time high of 40,993 new infections within 24 hours. 1158 more people had died with or from the coronavirus, they said. Russia is currently experiencing rapidly rising numbers of new infections and deaths. The government has ordered the closure of businesses across the country for the first week of November.
As early as Thursday, only convenience stores such as pharmacies and supermarkets were allowed to open in Moscow. A major problem for Russia is the massive skepticism about its own vaccine, Sputnik.
