When public buildings or companies are closed, the former residents or owners often leave a few things behind. Sure, mostly it is old files, office buckets or other garbage. In Australia, a very unusual find has now been discovered in a closed wildlife park. There, the You-Tuber Luke McPherson has now actually found a great white shark. (Video in the report)

You-Tuber explores abandoned places

You-Tuber Luke McPherson has his own channel where he uploads videos of his expeditions to abandoned property, closed tourist attractions and the like. On one of his trips, he has now discovered something extremely extraordinary. While wandering through the abandoned wildlife park “Wildlife Wonderland”, the self-proclaimed explorer found a huge aquarium with a great white shark in it. So is this place now a danger to the lives of people who try to gain access to the park, which has been closed since 2012?

Video shows the gruesome discovery

.

On his video, which has now been viewed more than 10 million times, Mc Pherson walks up to a giant fish tank with a greenish glow of a now rather filthy liquid. Then the shock! You first spot a large tail fin and finally the huge, ripped open mouth of a great white shark, apparently left in this place.

Shark was taxidermied for display at wildlife park

.

Naturally, the dangerous animal, which is about 5 meters tall, has not lived for a long time. It swims peacefully in a mixture of formaldehyde. However, after the wildlife park has been abandoned for years, vandals have opened the lid of the aquarium and thrown lots of trash into the liquid. The great white shark in question is “Rosie”. The animal had been immortalized in the net of tuna fishermen back in 2005 and then taxidermied for display at the wildlife park.

Authorities are aware of the shark

.

The Environmental Protection Agency in Victoria is aware of the aquarium’s location and had already ordered the park’s former owner to properly dispose of the aquarium and shark. However, through Luke Mc Pherson’s video, the situation has now been dealt with in a different way. A museum from a nearby town has now bought the great white shark and helped it find a new location.

There he can be marveled at legally in the future.
