Urgent warning to vaccinated! White House Advisor Dr. Fauci with powerful words!

Dr. Fauci just issued this urgent warning to vaccinated people! The White House COVID advisor says vaccination could be “critical” to your safety – for this reason!

Vaccination Rate Too Low

The world has been fighting the COVID pandemic for almost two years now. While we had all hoped that the virus would be eradicated by now, the pandemic was still in full swing this summer, even a full year after the introduction of highly effective vaccines, declining vaccination rates and a rapidly spreading variant. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), only 58.5 percent of the U.S. population is fully vaccinated, leaving more than 60 million people unvaccinated despite being eligible. While health officials point out that the unvaccinated are currently most at risk, some experts say that even vaccinated people should be on high alert.

On November 12, COVID White House advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci spoke on The New York Times podcast The Daily about the current state of the coronavirus in the United States. According to Fauci, authorities are now finding that immunity to infections and hospitalizations is declining several months after the initial vaccination. The infectious disease expert pointed to incoming data from Israel, which is typically a month to a month and a half ahead of us in terms of outbreaks of the virus.

Deaths in all age groups!

“There is a waning of immunity observed there not only to infections but also to hospitalizations and to some extent deaths, in all age groups. It’s not just older people,” Fauci said. “It’s getting to the point where more and more people are getting sick with breakthrough infections, and more and more of these people who are getting sick with breakthrough infections are ending up in the hospital.

As a result of these findings, Fauci warned that vaccinated individuals should get their booster shot, as it may be more important than health officials initially thought. “If you look at it, you can say that a booster vaccination is not just a bonus, but it could be an essential part of the basic immunization that people should receive,” he told The Daily.

Booster essential!

Fauci continued, “I think … that booster will be an absolutely essential part of our response, not a bonus, not a luxury, but an absolutely essential part of the program.”

Neither the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) nor the CDC has yet extended eligibility for the booster vaccination to the broader public. While all Johnson & Johnson recipients are eligible to receive an additional vaccination, only high-risk Moderna and Pfizer patients are eligible under the agencies’ guidelines.

However, some states, such as California and Colorado, have recently bypassed the two agencies by already extending eligibility for the booster shot to all adults in their states. “Allow patients to determine their own risk of exposure,” Dr. Tomás J. Aragón, the director of the California Department of Public Health, wrote in a Nov. 9 letter to local health care providers. “Do not turn away any patient who requests a booster vaccination.”

Rebooster vaccination works!

During the Nov. 12 podcast, Fauci also highlighted the effectiveness and safety of booster vaccinations. “We’ve shown that booster vaccinations are safe and effective and not only dramatically increase the response immunologically, but also, if you look at the clinical data from Israel, clearly reverse some of the diminishing effect that you see in people who have been vaccinated for six months or longer,” he said.

However, the need for booster shots doesn’t mean the vaccines don’t work. On the contrary, Fauci stressed, he doesn’t think “we’ve exhausted all the ways to prove what it takes to make them work,” such as additional doses. According to the virus expert, researchers “did not have the time” to conduct extensive studies to determine whether two doses were better than three, because of the “urgent need to get the vaccines to people sooner rather than later, which was life-saving for millions of people,” he noted.

Vaccinating the unvaccinated and “aggressively” boosting the vaccinated will likely put the U.S. in a safer position this winter than previous vaccinations, both in recent months and during the brutal winter of 2020, Fauci said. And more time will tell how long the boosters will protect recipients from COVID – but Fauci is optimistic.

“I think that in the end, when we have boostered the overwhelming majority of people who have been primarily vaccinated, we will say that, just like with other vaccines that require multiple doses, like hepatitis B, like some of the childhood vaccines, it’s likely that a booster will be needed,” he explained. “As an immunologist and infectious disease expert, I’m making my personal prediction here. We haven’t proven the pudding yet – the proof of the pudding will come when people are vaccinated and boostered and we have more durable protection that doesn’t wear off easily.”
