Sony’s Xperia-Z Reihe (Z1, Z2, Z3) soll das Update auf Android 5.1 im Juli erhalten

Sony pflegt weiter fleißig seine Geräte und will das aktuelle Android 5.1 Update bereits im Juli verteilen.

 

 

Erfreulicherweise unterstützt Sony dabei auch weiter die älteren Generationen ihrer Geräte. Denn das Android 5.1 Update soll fast komplette Xperia Z-Reihe erhalten, also das Xperia Z1, Xperia Z2 und natürlich das Xperia Z3. Dies beinhaltet sowohl die Smartphones als auch die Tablets. Dazu kommen noch ein paar weitere Geräte, wie das Xperia T2 Ultra, C3, M2 und M2 Aqua. Sehr löblich von Sony, könnten sich so einigen Hersteller eine Scheibe davon abschneiden.

Es werden aber wohl nicht alle Geräte gleichzeitig schon im Juli das 5.1 Update erhalten, sondern Sony wird wohl erst mit den neuen Geräten der Z3-Serie anfangen und sich dann weiter zu den älteren Modellen durcharbeiten. Es wird also noch einige Zeit dauern bis das auf allen Geräten ausgeliefert sein wird.
